The Department of Sociology, Kohsar University Murree, organized a Seminar on “World Earth Day” on 22 April 2025. Dr. Hussain Mustafa Gillani (In-charge, Punjab House Campus, Kohsar University, Murree) was the Chief Guest. Dr. Zahid Zulfiqar Rana, Associate Prof & HOD Department of Sociology, NCBA&E Lahore Multan Sub Campus, was a Guest Speaker. Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim, HOD, Department of Sociology, Kohsar University Murree, was the Chief Organiser. The faculty members and a huge number of students participated in the seminar. Dr. Zahid Zulfiqar said that we are responsible for preserving the Earth for future generations, and it’s time to live sustainably, consume responsibly, and protect the environment. The participants also organised an awareness walk. Dr. Hussain Mustafa Gillani appreciated the activity and encouraged the organisers to continue these sorts of activities in the future.
